A different approach to cuckolding

Yesterday I took a different approach to cuckolding. I am used to the elaborate preparations of finding and making arrangements with a potential playmate on Craig's List or waiting for Saturday night to go to a swing party where Michael can watch me with other men or the hit-or-miss adventures of going to nightclubs in the hopes of finding sex with strangers. I decided to just take what I wanted.

I was at home and a man about ten years younger than I am was replacing some bathroom cabinets. He was handsome and I would definitely have gone with him at a swing party or approached him in a bar, but here he was working in our home. Should I do without?

As he was working, I stood at the master bathroom door and watched. We exchanged a few innocuous comments about the cabinets and the fittings. Nothing flirtatious. I could tell he was liking the show but was confused about what I was expecting.

My usual answer is to suggest that they give their man my book to read. Following that, an affectionate talk about the hows and whys of the lifestyle is in order.

However, I don't have all the answers and there are times when it seems impossible to pull off a cuckolding evening. Craig's List candidates can be unreliable or perhaps they have too many takes on a given evening. It is understandable that they are in demand given the photos they post in their ads. Going commando and trying to recruit a sexy guy at a bar is fraught with its own problems but we've had great success with it occasionally. Sometimes Michael and I have a good laugh at our washouts and I have to ask, "Who do I have to fuck around here to get fucked?!"

In spite of the obstacles, I love the lifestyle and it always amazes me to realize that the man of my life is as concerned as I am about making sure I find great men to have sex with me. Isn't that the best?

Sometimes I'll think of the most audacious and titillating things to say to Michael that have to do with our cuckolding activities, real and/or imagined, because what I have done or might do both provide stimulation for us that enhances our relationship.

Cuckolding: “How do I get my spouse interested in cuckolding?”

Cuckolding as a lifestyle is puzzling to many because it seems to go against the grain of modern society to have a happily married couple where the man is monogamous and the women is sexually free. Women have told me that it is the ideal fantasy. Men have told me they wish their wives would be interested. Cuckolding: A matriarchal instinct?

I can’t help but noticing that some elements of the cuckolding lifestyle appear to mirror those of matriarchal societies where women would be free to have sex with men as a normal course of events but also as part of a rite that brings the power of the Goddess to men by creating a balance between the feminine and masculine and in raising energy.

I don’t believe that worshiping women is the primary, conscious instinct when a man brings the subject of cuckolding to his woman but where does it rank on the scale of subconscious motivations? Is this a timeless, primal urge to which men have always been subject? Certainly this trait, along with many others, has been discouraged and punished in patriarchal societies like our own. Is the rise of cuckolding as a compelling, if privately practiced, lifestyle the forerunner of a return to a matriarchal way of life?

Time will tell.
